Hi Brent!
I'm just re-doing my system....and I've decided to run in mono just to simplify things when playing live.
I'm running an Egnater IE4 preamp and a Naylor SD60 head together.
I can select either the Naylor preamp or the Egnater preamp via my CAE 2x4 switcher.....either preamp will feed the Naylor power section. It's pretty cool, and I get some great amp tones!
Here's my question:
Since I'm running in mono, do you think I need 2 offset delay lines to fill out the sound?....or is one short tapping rhythm delay enough?
I'm thinking about using the following two pieces of gear:
Buying a PCM42 as my primary delay unit just for solos.
Using my TC M2000 in "Dual Mono" (2 independent channels)...channel 1 for reverb and channel 2 for a short, tapping rhythm delay.
Am I going overboard here?.....Do you have any suggestions??
Thanks for your help!!!!!
